Paul Schneijder, Managing Director

Paul Schneijder is a real aviation person with wide interest in management challenges. He is specialized in Airline and Airport Operational Management consulting, with special attention to company performance management. Paul enjoys consulting work, developing new approaches to the challenges airlines, airports and related industries are facing, whilst at the same time respecting and using the unique characteristics of that organization. In his project approach, he champions an active role for the client.

Paul has more than 21 years of working experience in aviation, with airlines and airports. He really enjoys working with clients in other cultures and considers this as one of the most interesting aspects of his job.

In the past Paul Schneijder has been Partner & Principal Consultant at Lufthansa Consulting, responsible for the consulting work of the Airline Operations & Maintenance Business Unit. Working for airlines, airports and lease companies, he has dealt with most aspects of airline and airport operations management. He is also guest lecturer at several academic institutions, as well as a respected speaker at industry conferences.

Paul has extensive project experience in airline management and has managed projects involving maintenance program development, maintenance planning, aircraft import/export and aircraft certification. Further important projects include cost reduction, operational excellence, Operations & Hub Control (HCC, OCC and IOCC) and safety management for helicopter of shore operations. Other recent projects comprise design of management control systems and post-merger of technical organizations

As a representative of various airlines Paul has been involved in technical and commercial platforms and conferences, dealing with aircraft manufacturers, suppliers and authorities. He also managed various maintenance contracts for airlines.

In addition to his degree in Aircraft Engineering, Paul Schneijder has earned a Master of Business Administration in General & Strategic Management, providing him with an optimal balance between technical, operational and business administration skills. Paul works in Dutch (native speaker), German and English.
